Types of Truck Accidents - Joe Fried - Personal Injury Attorney

Truckers are required to have one and only one CDL license from the state in which they reside. That license allows them to drive commercially anywhere in the country. If they are in a wreck, they can usually be sued in the state where the wreck occurred, in the state where they reside, or in the state where the trucking company has its principal place of business.

The Feds are involved in inspecting trucks and sometimes in post crash inspections. More typically, state officers who have been trained in Federal Regulations are involved. Many of the cases end up in federal courts.

The types of truck accidents are..

U-Turns
Left turn
Right turn
Truck hits something ahead
Truck gets hit from behind
Sideswipe
Night time collisions
Bad weather wrecks
